Community Living Program Facilities
Developmental Programs are offered at the various Community Living Program Facilities:

Bechtold Centre, 2755 Patterson Avenue, houses the developmental, communication, and senior's programs. Most of our consumers are seniors who have been with Kindale since inception 48 years ago. Many of the consumers we serve have a dual diagnosis. Kindale offers a range of assessment, diagnostic and program developmental services. There is approximately 6,500 square feet. The building was designed specifically for people with disabilities. Ramps connect the various areas and the administration building. Counters, sinks, etc. were all built with wheelchair and other special access in mind; even the light switches are located for easy access for people in wheelchairs. Many windows create a happy, welcoming, and pleasant atmosphere.
TLC (Training Learning Centre) Facilitates the semi-independent training group. The centre focuses on an integrated setting.

The Old Towne Thrift Shoppe, 2675 Patterson Avenue is located next to the Administration Office. The store is operated by volunteers and Kindale consumers. To donate to our thrift store call (250) 546-3005 and ask for Anna Maj or the store (250) 546-3099. Clothing and small kitchen appliances can also be placed neatly on the porch at the Administration office, 2725 Patterson Avenue.
